Prize drive in a Ferrari
PEOPLE in Hampshire could win one of a variety of top prizes in a competition to promote ways of having fun that do not involve alcohol.
The joint campaign to highlight the risks of excessive and underage drinking has been launched by the police forces in Hampshire and the Thames Valley, alongside NHS South Central.
Prizes include a Ferrari driving experience, VIP passes to London attractions and a gliding lesson.
Inspector Alistair Nichols, of Hampshire Constabulary, said: "We aren't asking people to stop drinking, but we do urge them to drink responsibly or find different ways to enjoy themselves."
The contest's questions are based around the recommended daily alcohol limits and can be answered by visiting www.hampshire.police.uk/internet/news/campaigns/saferstreets.htm.
Those who answer all three correctly will go into a prize draw. The competition closes at noon on Wednesday, April 30.
