Double delight for Hursley
Hursley Park Ladies won the South Hants Indoor Cricket League and Knock Out Cup to take both titles for the third year running.
The season saw two new teams enter the well-established ladies division, including a second Hursley team.
Hursley Park A continued their fantastic record and have now only lost one league match in the past three years.
An all round team performance was enhanced by a solid batting line up, with opener Emma Bane unbeaten all season, scoring 277 runs.
This saw the team consistently post a total the bowling attack of Hazel Wilkinson, Jemma Green and Helen Pryer could defend.
In the cup final, Hursley faced league runners up Portsmouth Community.
Put into bat, Hursley made 110 from their ten overs.
Portsmouth started steadily, but excellent bowling by captain Jemma Green (3-14) meant they needed 47 from the last two overs.
Outstanding fielding resulted in a run out in the last over for a 34-run victory.
